Long before photography became his passion,
Grant would see a great photo and study what it was that made it so
captivating. Photography was something he always wanted to learn, but for one
reason or another, it was never the right time.

A trip to Italy in 2019 inspired him to finally
indulge his curiosity, and Grant bought his first camera. With an affinity for
technology, learning the mechanics of operating it came easily, and he dove
deep into the art and science of it all. It wasn’t long before he realized the
passion and the desire to be able to create those magical images he’d admired
for so long. Photography was an art form that he could wrap both his mechanical
and creative minds around, and it has now become a huge part of his life.

If asked what he shoots, Grant will tell you,
“Fine art sea to city with a side of conceptual portraiture”. Grant has
developed what he laughingly refers to as an “exaggerate to clarify” style
of editing. “A bit heavy-handed at times, but that’s what I see in my mind's
eye.”

Recently, Grant dove into a photography
spin-off with the purchase of a Canon large-format printer and is now working
with some talented professional photographers, developing their fine art prints
for sale and display in homes, galleries, and other public spaces.
