Most surfers will put their hand in the wave to slow them down when they’re in the
barrel, and I was always curious what it looked like from below the surface. I spent all
day wasting waves trying to get this angle and when I finally connected with Hawaiian
surfer Josh Moniz, I knew I finally got what I was after. It truly is a unique perspective
that not many people get to see.
